What exactly does a refrigerated dryer do?

When is a desiccant dryer the right choice?

Sometimes standard dry compressed air is not enough. A desiccant dryer works according to a different principle and produces much drier compressed air. It is mainly used when normal dry compressed air is not sufficient and the process places higher demands on air quality.

A refrigerated dryer is therefore the standard solution for most compressor installations, while a desiccant dryer is best suited for applications that require extremely dry compressed air.
