The 20AS 20 bar laser cutting screw compressor is designed for professional laser cutting applications where high, stable pressure and consistent air quality are essential. With a maximum pressure of 20 bar, this compressor belongs to a rare category within screw compressors and is ideally suited for cutting with compressed air instead of nitrogen.

The 20AS delivers an air output of 1,520 l/min at 20 bar, measured at this maximum operating pressure. The system is equipped with a 15 kW (20 HP) variable speed drive (VSD) and is suitable for fiber laser systems up to 4,000 W. VSD technology continuously adapts compressor speed to actual air demand, ensuring stable pressure control and efficient energy use.

Thanks to the combination of refrigerated drying and high-quality filtration, the system delivers oil-free compressed air that meets the requirements of modern laser cutting machines. Although the compressor itself is oil-lubricated, oil is effectively removed from the compressed air, preventing any negative impact on cutting quality or machine components.

A key advantage of the VSD system is the elimination of high starting current peaks during start-up. This allows the RMZY-20AS to be connected to a lower electrical supply capacity compared to fixed-speed compressors. The system operates on 400V three-phase power. Please note: the integrated refrigerated dryer requires a separate 230V power supply, in addition to the compressor connection.
