With a maximum pressure of 20 bar, this compressor belongs to a rare category within screw compressors and offers a proven alternative to nitrogen for laser cutting.

The laser cutting screw compressor delivers an air output of 2,410 l/min at 20 bar, measured at this maximum operating pressure. The system is equipped with a 22 kW variable speed drive (VSD) and is recommended for fiber laser systems in the 4 to 6 kW range. VSD technology continuously adjusts compressor speed to actual air demand, ensuring stable cutting pressure, efficient energy use and smooth operation.

Thanks to the combination of refrigerated drying and high-quality filtration, the laser cutting screw compressor delivers oil-free compressed air suitable for modern laser cutting machines. Although the compressor itself is oil-lubricated, oil is effectively removed from the compressed air, preventing any negative impact on cutting quality, optics or machine components.

A key advantage of the VSD system is the elimination of high starting current peaks during start-up. This allows the compressor to be connected to a lower electrical supply capacity compared to fixed-speed compressors. The system operates on 400V three-phase power. Please note: the integrated refrigerated dryer requires a separate 230V power supply, in addition to the compressor connection.
